We learn how to adapt to challenging situations and soon we forget our own truth and don’t take care of our own needs. As adults, we focus on the person who we think we should be. Throughout our lives, we have family, friends, peers, and teachers who guide us with the good intention of helping us be successful and well-adjusted. But as all of this happens, we are becoming crafted, edited, sculpted versions of ourselves. Our inner spirit dims and we lose our connection to who we truly are. Soon we begin to believe things about ourselves and the world that are not true.
