Foundation of the “Uncovering Passion” Coaching Process

All of my coaching work stems from the simple but powerful belief that each of us has the ability to cultivate self-acceptance, clarity, and inner joy. I believe that from this state, we can create anything we desire.

According to some sources, 95% of brain activity is beyond conscious awareness. Translation: Your unconscious mind is ruling your life and you are not even aware of the programming and belief systems upon which your actions are based. Through our coaching work, I will support you identifying negative, self-harming beliefs that are buried in your subconscious mind. Together we will use a tool called Emotional Freedom Techniques to change these beliefs to positive ones. Read more about EFT below.

What is the Coaching Process Like?

As a creative and adventurous spirit, I have forged a winding trail and studied many traditional and new age methods for cultivating peace, clarity and confidence. I will work with you to use these tools so that you can begin moving in the direction of what you want.

As a coach, I am here to:

  1. LISTEN to your story and help you IDENTIFY where you feel stuck and stagnant in your professional life
  2. ASK QUESTIONS that help you identify your innate skills and gifts
  3. Help you GAIN CLARITY about your goals, and
  4. SUPPORT you as you begin to walk the path toward a passionate life filled with joy


If you want to connect with your highest, truest self, and start walking down the path that will bring you the things you really want, you’ve come to the right place. Here is a brief outline of the process.

STEP 1: We will evaluate your past professional, educational, and other relevant experiences to gather information about your strengths and interests. As we gather this information, we will begin to see patterns that reveal possible career paths and directions.
STEP 2: I will guide you through tuning in to your physical and emotional responses to different situations and people. This will help you gain clarity about the types of environments in which you thrive.
STEP 3: Together, we will begin to create a vision for your professional future and brainstorm possible steps that will move you toward that goal. Traditional methods of job searching can be frustrating and overwhelming. The work you do in this step is focused inward instead of outward, so that you can identify steps that feel empowering and easy, as opposed to stressful and difficult.
STEP 4: As you get clearer on your professional goals and begin eliminating blocks to achieving those goals, we will use powerful visualization tools to help you experience the emotional state you are seeking.
STEP 5: While we will be using Emotional Freedom Techniques throughout all of our sessions, many of your most strongly held negative beliefs about yourself will begin showing themselves at this point. You will have identified your goals and begun moving toward them, and the part of you that fears change will be rearing its ugly head! Together, we will observe and dissolve the resistance and fear around moving forward in your life.
STEP 6: We will work on mindfulness techniques and daily routines that will allow you to cultivate awareness and continue with confidence and clarity on your journey.

What is EFT?

The single most important tool that I use with clients is called Emotional Freedom Techniques. Emotional Freedom Technique (also known as “tapping”) is a powerful, evidence-based, self-help technique that can be learned in a few minutes and used to address any issue around which you are experiencing negative emotions. Beliefs like “I don’t deserve good things” or “I am not capable enough to get the job of my dreams” are lurking under the surface and holding you back. As a certified practitioner through EFT Universe, I will use this tool throughout our sessions to explore and eliminate these harmful unconscious thoughts.
