Christy is an explorer, a traveler, and a seeker who has explored different career paths and is continually seeking opportunities to learn and grow.

Christy worked for ten years in the media industry as a photo editor and film producer, creating content and working on strategic initiatives for companies like National Geographic Magazine, Smithsonian Channel, Science Magazine, and Nature Conservancy. She has attended worldwide events and workshops including the World Congress of Science and Factual Producers and the Banff Adventure Filmmakers Workshop, where she has met many talented photographers, filmmakers, producers, writers, and artists. Christy also ran her own media business designing and building websites for small businesses, and creating video and marketing content.

Christy currently works on the investment team at an early-stage venture capital firm, Sands Capital Ventures, where she meets many early stage technology businesses seeking funding. She completed her MBA degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She is fascinated by the process of building a high-growth startup and is performing research and diligence for early stage venture deals.

In addition to her professional experiences, Christy has been using and teaching an evidence-based self-help technique called Emotional Freedom Techniques (“tapping”) since college. She has been using the technique personally and with clients for many years, in addition to assistant teaching workshops on the technique.

Christy is passionate about supporting and guiding clients as they discover their true passions and shine their light. She is constantly exploring how people keep their lives focused on what inspires them and brings them alive.
